Where the One is remembered, a temple rises — and good people gather there to sing.
Keeping the One in mind, hearts set down what harms them and reach the highest place, carried by the beautiful Word.
The story of the One is endlessly sweet — a telling of what words can't quite hold. The moment it began was true and blessed, an unshakable foundation laid; and the One, so kind, poured every good gift over it.
This verse celebrates a temple built by remembering the One.
Har japay har mandar saaji-aa: by remembering the One, the One's temple was built. The words hold two meanings together. One is a real house of worship that the community raised with their own hands. The other is the heart, made into a home where the Name lives.
Abichal neev means an unmoving foundation. A house built on rock stands through storms. What is built on the One does not crack.
Sahj kathaa at meethee: the story of the One is easy and very sweet. Sahj means natural ease, the calm that comes without forcing. Like a favorite story told at bedtime, it settles you rather than stirs you up.
What is something in your life you want to build on a foundation that lasts?
