The One's gift is complete, and it only grows, day after day.
The Supreme One made me His own — and how great His greatness is!
From the very beginning He has kept His loved ones safe, and now, so kind, He settles every creature in peace and cares for them all. His praise fills every direction, worth more than words can tell — and I would give anything for the Teacher, who laid this foundation that never moves.
This one says the One's gift keeps growing.
Daat khasam kee pooree ho-ee means the Master's daat, gift, is complete. Nit nit charhai savaa-ee means it grows more every single day. Grace is not a fixed amount, like one slice of cake each. Think of a candle that lights other candles. Its own flame is never smaller for sharing.
Jee-a jant sabh sukhee vasaa-ay means all jee-a jant, beings and creatures, are settled in peace. The One's care reaches every creature, not just a chosen few.
Abichal neev means the unmoving foundation. It comes back from the pauri before: what the Guru built stands firm.
What is a gift in your life that seems to keep growing the more you use it?
