One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਮਿਠ ਬੋਲੜਾ ਜੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੋਰਾ ॥
mith bolrhaa jee har sajan su-aamee moraa.
My Dear Lord and Master, my Friend, speaks so sweetly.

ha-o sammal thakee jee oh kaday na bolai ka-uraa.
I have grown weary of testing Him, but still, He never speaks harshly to me.

He does not know any bitter words; the Perfect Lord God does not even consider my faults and demerits.

It is the Lord's natural way to purify sinners; He does not overlook even an iota of service.

In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

My Friend, the One, speaks so gently — always kindly, never sharp.

I have tested Him again and again, and not once has He spoken a bitter word to me; He simply doesn't hold my mistakes against me.

It is His nature to lift up anyone who's fallen, and He never overlooks even the smallest bit of love you offer. He lives in every heart, closer than the closest thing — and I take shelter with Him always, my sweet Friend.

The One never speaks a harsh word and keeps no ledger of your faults.
The deeper layer

mith bolrhaa, kaday na bolai ka-uraa — the One sweet-spoken, who never speaks bitterly: an image of utterly gentle divine love. a-ugan ko na chitaaray, does not count your faults: grace that keeps no ledger. ik til nahee bhannai ghaalay, He does not waste even an iota of your effort — every small act of love is received. This tender shabad opens the closing chhant of Guru Arjan's Soohee.

A Question to Sit With

Who in your life speaks to you so gently you never feel afraid to come back?
