That being, with whom You are pleased, is united with You; O servant Nanak, only such a mortal is accepted. ||4||2||13||

In plain words

Only You know how great You really are, and all of creation keeps turning toward You, day after day.

The one You are glad in is drawn close and joined to You. That is the heart that arrives home.

The heart the One delights in is drawn home to the One.
The deeper layer

Only the One knows how great the One is.

Tayree vadi-aa-ee — Your greatness — only You know it. Vadi-aa-ee means greatness. No one who praises the One can ever measure it. Yet everyone keeps remembering the One, every day.

Then: jis no tuDh bhaavai — the one You are pleased with, You bring close. That person is thaa-ay paa-ay, accepted, finding a true place. Think of a family dinner. You don't earn your seat at the table. The one who invited you set a place for you. Coming close to the One is like that — a place made ready by grace.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to arrive somewhere you truly belong?
