In plain words

When the One comes to live inside a person, every sickness of the heart is healed: the aches, the restlessness, all of it eases.

Holding the Name with love sets them free and lifts them to the highest, cleanest place there is.

The Name held with love heals the heart of every inner sickness.
The deeper layer

When the One lives inside us, the heart heals.

Jin kai antar vasi-aa mayraa har har tin kay sabh rog gavaa-ay — those in whom the One lives are cured of every rog, every sickness. These are sicknesses of the heart, the kind that come from a self-centered mind. The Name is the medicine. This healing picture shows up often in Raag Soohee, and in Raag Todee too.

Then: tay mukat bha-ay — they become mukat, free. Through simran, remembering the Name, they reach pavit param pad, the pure, highest place. Think of a stuffy room when someone opens a window. Fresh air pours in, and everything feels lighter. That's what the Name does inside.

A Question to Sit With

What settles you and eases you when your mind feels sick with worry?
