Friends Who Remind Me

They are my companions, and they are my dear friends,

who inspire me to remember the Lord's Name. ||1||Pause||

In plain words

These are my true companions, my dearest friends:

the ones who nudge me to keep the One in mind.

A true friend is one who helps you remember what matters most.
The deeper layer

The Rahao defines real friendship: jo ham ka-o har naam chitaaray — a friend is one who helps you remember what matters. Not the friend who flatters, but the one who quietly points you home. This reframes friendship itself as a spiritual gift.

A Question to Sit With

Which of your friends brings out the best, truest part of you?
