Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Come along, friends — let us go and delight in the One together, not alone.

Let us sit humbly among good, wise people and learn from being near them.

Some joys are best gone toward together, not alone.
The deeper layer

chal sakhee-ay parabh raavan jaahaa — “come, companions” (sakhee — the soul-friends). saaDh janaa kee charnee paahaa — at the feet of the saadh (holy). An invitation, warm and communal. This is the Pause line.

A Question to Sit With

Who would you most want to invite along to something wonderful?
