Sikhism·Raag Soohee·Shabad 50
Verse 3 of 5

Mountains Gone In A Moment

ਪਰਬਤ ਦੋਖ ਮਹਾ ਬਿਕਰਾਲਾ ॥
parbat dokh mahaa bikraalaa.
Even huge mountains of sin and corruption
ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਦੂਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥੨॥
khin meh door kee-ay da-i-aalaa. ||2||
are removed in an instant by the Merciful Lord. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Even troubles that feel as huge and immovable as mountains can shift.

In a single moment, the kind One can lift them and move them out of your way.

Even mountain-sized troubles can move faster than you expect.
The deeper layer

parbat dokh mahaa bikraalaa — parbat (mountains) of trouble, bikraal (fearsome). khin meh door kee-ay da-i-aalaa — removed in a khin (instant) by the merciful One. Vast obstacles meeting greater grace.

A Question to Sit With

What is a problem that felt like a mountain but turned out to be smaller?
