ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
jagjeevan purakh saaDhsang paa-i-aa.
O Life of the World, O Primal Being, I have found the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੨੪॥੩੦॥
gur parsaad naanak naam Dhi-aa-i-aa. ||4||24||30||
By Guru's Grace, O Nanak, I meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||24||30||

I found the Life of the World in the company of good, wise people.
And by grace, in that company, I learned to keep the Name close.
The deepest things are often found in the company of the good.
jagjeevan purakh saaDhsang paa-i-aa — the jagjeevan (life of the world) found in the saadh sangat. gur parsaad naanak naam Dhi-aa-i-aa — by gur parsaad (grace), meditating on the Name. Community as the place of finding. ||4||24||30||.
