Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
gur pooray jab bha-ay da-i-aal.
When the Perfect Guru becomes merciful,
ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਈ ਘਾਲ ॥੧॥
dukh binsay pooran bha-ee ghaal. ||1||
my pains are taken away, and my works are perfectly completed. ||1||

When the teaching turns toward you with real kindness, something eases.
The aches you carried settle, and the work you were struggling with quietly comes together.
Sometimes what struggle could not finish, kindness completes.
gur pooray jab bha-ay da-i-aal — when the poora (perfect) Guru becomes dayaal (merciful). dukh binsay pooran bha-ee ghaal — pain dissolves and ghaal (effort/work) is completed. Grace finishing what striving could not.
