In plain words

When the water ahead looks wide and a little frightening, you do not have to cross it alone. Being near people who are kind and who point toward the good — that company carries you across.

And as you go, you keep the Name close, saying it softly to yourself, because it is a treasure that never runs out.

Good company carries you across water you could not cross alone.
The deeper layer

This one means we cross life's big, scary waters together, not alone.

saaDhsang tarai bhai saagar — cross the frightening ocean in the saadh sangat, the company of good people. Bhai saagar means an ocean of fear. It stands for the wide, rough waters of everyday life.

Think of a class trip across a lake. Nobody swims it alone. You all get into one boat. Good company is not just the place you reach at the end. It is the boat itself.

har har naam simar ratnaagar — remember the Name, the ratnaagar. That word means a mine full of jewels. The Name is a treasure that never runs out.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people who make hard things feel possible for you?
