In plain words

With the help of good people, I have found a home inside myself that does not slide around — a steady place to stand.

From there, a deep calm settles in, and I stop being knocked over by every little thing.

A steady place inside means every little thing stops knocking you over.
The deeper layer

With help from good people, I have found a home that never shakes.

Sant parsaad nihchal ghar paa-i-aa: by the kindness of the saints, I found the nihchal ghar, the home that does not move. This home is not a building. It is a steady place inside you.

Sarab sookh fir nahee dolaa-i-aa: total peace, and no more wobbling.

Think of a boat with a good anchor. Waves still come, but the boat stays in its place. A calm heart is like that anchored boat.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you feel steady when things around you are chaotic?
