The Treasure That Never Empties

ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨੇ ਭੀ ਮਿਲਨਿ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੰਨਿ ॥
chiree vichhunay bhee milan jo satgur sayvann.
Even those who have been separated for so very long, are reunited with Him, when they serve the True Guru.
antar nav niDh naam hai khaan kharchan na nikhuta-ee har gun sahj ravann. ||32||
The nine treasures of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, are deep within the nucleus of the self; consuming them, they are still never exhausted. Chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord, with natural ease. ||32||

In plain words

Even someone who has felt far away for the longest time can come home again — the door was never really shut.

Deep inside me lies a whole storehouse of the Name, and no matter how much I draw on it, it never empties. So I keep the wonder of the One flowing, easily, all day.

The storehouse of the Name within never empties, however much you use it.
The deeper layer

Even after a long time away, you can come home. And the treasure inside never runs out.

Chiree vichhunay bhee milan — even those apart for a very long time are joined again, jo satgur sayvann, when they serve the True Guru. The door was never really shut.

Antar nav niDh naam hai — inside you are the nav niDh, the nine treasures of the Name. "Nine treasures" is an old way of saying every kind of riches. Khaan kharchan na nikhuta-ee — use them and spend them, and they never run out. Think of a candle lighting other candles. It gives its flame away and keeps burning. Har gun sahj ravann — so sing the One's praises, easily and naturally.

A Question to Sit With

What's something good in you that only grows the more you share it?
