The Overflowing Storehouse

ਭੰਡਾਰ ਭਰੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਦੇਵਾਈ ॥੨੧॥
bhandaar bharay bhagtee har tayray jis bhaavai tis dayvaa-ee. ||21||
O Lord, Your devotional worship is a treasure over-flowing. One who loves You, is blessed with it. ||21||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One holds endless storehouses brimming with love and devotion — there's no shortage, ever.

And that gift flows freely to the heart that opens to it. It was never about deserving; it's about being willing to receive.

The gift of love is an overflowing storehouse, freely poured.
The deeper layer

bhandaar bharay bhagtee har tayray, jis bhaavai tis dayvaa-ee — the One's storehouses (bhandaar) of devotion overflow, and the gift is given to the heart that loves. Grace as abundance freely poured, received rather than earned.

A Question to Sit With

What good thing in your life feels like it was simply given to you?
