A Face Lit Up from the Inside

In plain words

When I live in a way that is true, life feels lighter, and there is a kind of glow — like a face lit up from the inside.

The one who pleases the One is welcomed with honor. The Supreme One gives that honor to those who serve the Guru with true love.

Living truly gives a glow that showing off never can.
The deeper layer

When you live truly and remember the One, it shows as peace and a glow on your face.

Aapnarhay prabh bhaani-aa — the one who is bhaani-aa, pleasing, to their own God, dargeh paiDhaa jaa-ay. They go to the One's dargeh, the royal court, dressed in robes of honor.

Aithai sukh mukh ujlaa — and even here, in this life, there is peace, and the face is ujlaa, bright and glowing. This comes from remembering the One Name. Think of how a friend's face lights up when they have done something kind in secret. What is true inside shows on the outside.

Aadar ditaa paarbarahm — the Supreme One gives aadar, honor and respect. It goes to those who serve the Guru sat bhaa-ay, with true, honest love.

A Question to Sit With

Have you noticed how someone looks different when they are being genuinely kind?
