In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

Come, dear Friend — I am longing just to see You. I stand in my own doorway, watching, my heart brimming over with eagerness.

Hear me: my heart is full of hope, and I lean my whole trust on You. The moment I catch sight of You, the old grip of wanting loosens, and the ache of endless coming-and-going fades.

Your light lives in everyone — that is how You are known — and through simple love You are easily met. I would give anything for this Friend, who comes home to those who are real.

Longing held with trust is not empty waiting — it is already part of the meeting.
The deeper layer

aavhu sajnaa ha-o daykhaa darsan tayraa — come, Friend, let me see you: darsan is the blessing of simply beholding. ghar aapnarhai kharhee takaa — standing at her own door, watching. The teaching is intimate: saglee jot jaataa too so-ee — the same light in every being is how the One is recognized, and mili-aa bhaa-ay subhaa-ay, He is met through natural love, not effort. Longing itself, held with trust, is already part of the meeting.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you have waited for eagerly, standing at the door watching for it?
