The One has blessed me, and every living being has come to my side.
When I keep the Name in mind, all my sorrows quietly melt away.
This one says: the One is the reason behind every reason.
This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Santahu tis bin avar na ko-ee: friends, there is no one else but the One. Karan kaaran means the Cause of causes. Think of a long row of dominoes. Each one falls because of the one before it. But someone set up the whole row. The One is behind every cause there is.
The Guru says the One has blessed him and brought every living being to his side. He keeps the Name, the True Name of the One, in mind. And taa saglay dookh mitaa-i-aa: then all his sorrows melt away.
