Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The illness was gently taken away, and everyone who loves the teaching filled up with joy.

Whatever the heart truly asks for is given, and a beloved child was made well again.

Healing in one heart ripples out as joy through everyone who loves.
The deeper layer

The Rahau: bedan satigur aap gavaaee — the ailment itself removed; sikh sant sabh sarse — the Sikhs and Saints made glad. Traditionally this celebrates the recovery of a beloved child from illness.

A Question to Sit With

When someone you love gets better, how does the whole house change?
