Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:
ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥
aithai othai rakhvaalaa.
Here and hereafter, He is our Savior.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
parabh satgur deen da-i-aalaa.
God, the True Guru, is Merciful to the meek.
ਦਾਸ ਅਪਨੇ ਆਪਿ ਰਾਖੇ ॥
daas apnay aap raakhay.
He Himself protects His slaves.
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖੇ ॥੧॥
ghat ghat sabad subhaakhay. ||1||
In each and every heart, the Beautiful Word of His Shabad resounds. ||1||

Here and everywhere ahead, the One is my protector, gentle with anyone who feels small.
In every single heart, a beautiful Word is quietly sounding, if you grow still enough to hear it.
The same beautiful Word hums inside every heart, including yours.
aithai othai rakhvaalaa — protector here and beyond; deen daiaalaa — tender to the humble; ghat ghat sabad subhaakhe — the Word sounding in every heart.
