The way to true honor is simply being real, living truthfully is like a passport stamped with the True Name.
We arrive in this life and one day we leave it, each of us carried along by the great flow of existence.
Understanding that flow, how life actually works, comes with a real guide. And how steady and true that flow is.
Living truthfully is your passport, and the True Name is the stamp on it.
Pat parvaanaa saach kaa — Truth is the pass to honor. A parvaanaa is a pass or permit, like a passport. Naam sachaa neesaan — the True Name is its seal, the official stamp.
Aa-i-aa likh lai jaavnaa — we arrive and we leave along what is written. That "writing" is hukam, the great flow of existence, the way life truly works. Hukmee hukam pachhaan — learn to recognize the flow and the One behind it.
Gur bin hukam na boojhee-ai — without the Guru, this flow is hard to understand. Think of a river you have never seen. A guide who knows it shows you where it runs deep and where it runs gentle. The Guru is that guide, and the flow the Guru shows is steady and true.
What does it mean to you to be real rather than just to look good?
