Sorat'h, Third Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਬਦੇ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਭਾਈ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
har jee-o sabday jaapdaa bhaa-ee poorai bhaag milaa-ay.
The Dear Lord is realized through the Word of His Shabad, O Siblings of Destiny, which is found only by perfect destiny.
ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਭਾਈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਤੀਆ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
sadaa sukh sohaaganee bhaa-ee an-din ratee-aa rang laa-ay. ||1||
The happy soul-brides are forever in peace, O Siblings of Destiny; night and day, they are attuned to the Lord's Love. ||1||

The One becomes real to you through the living Word — and when your heart is truly ready, you meet it.
The hearts that have found it rest in a deep, steady peace. Day and night they glow, warmed by love.
When the heart is ready, the Word makes the One real.
har jee-o sabday jaapdaa — the One is realized through the Shabad (the Word). poorai bhaag milaa-ay — “perfect destiny” rendered as readiness, a heart grown ripe, not luck. sohaaganee — the “happy soul-brides,” the awakened souls, kept inclusive here as any heart attuned to love. an-din ratee-aa rang laa-ay — colored in love, night and day.
