Sachay charan sarayvee-ah: honor the "feet" of the True One. Bowing at someone's feet is an old picture of humble love. When we do that, bharam bha-o hovai naas: doubt and fear disappear.
Mil sant sabhaa man maanjee-ai: join the sant sabhaa, the gathering of good, loving people, also called the sangat, and let your mind be scrubbed clean. Then make your home in the Name.
Think of how you feel after a day with kind, cheerful friends compared with a day around people who complain all the time. Company rubs off on us.
