Where did this beautiful understanding come from, the kind that quietly erased the long line of my doubt?
Kabir says: I have tasted that sweetness for myself, and by grace my mind has come home and made its peace with the One.
When doubt is wiped clean by grace, the mind finally comes home and rests.
sumat (the beautiful wisdom) erased the leek (the etched line) of doubt, an image of doubt as a groove worn into the mind, now wiped clean. so ras kabeerai jaani-aa (Kabir has tasted that essence), gur parsaad man maani-aa (by grace the mind is reconciled). maani-aa here is Mannai, inner alignment, not mere belief (guidelines).
