In plain words

In a dark room, you need a lamp to find something you cannot quite see with your eyes.

I looked for that hidden, hard-to-grasp treasure, and I found it, and now a warm light glows inside me, lighting up everything within.

The One is found by an inner lamp, and then that light fills everything within.
The deeper layer

This one says you need an inner lamp to find what cannot be seen, and then that light fills you.

Andhi-aaray deepak chahee-ai: "in the dark, you need a lamp." A deepak is a small oil lamp.

The lamp helps find basat agochar, the thing that cannot be seen. Agochar means beyond the senses, something eyes and ears cannot catch. Here it is the One.

Think of hunting for a lost earring under your bed. You need a flashlight. But this search turns inward. Ghat deepak rahi-aa samaa-ee: now the lamp fills the heart. The teaching is that inner lamp, and once it is lit, the light stays.

A Question to Sit With

When has understanding something felt like a light suddenly turning on inside you?
