By great good fortune I met the perfect teacher, and something lit up inside me.
Now no worry can knock me down, because I rest in the loving support of the One.
Guru Arjan, the fifth Guru, says that meeting the Guru lit up his mind, and now his trust in the One keeps him steady.
Gur pooraa bhayti-o vadbhaagee: by great good fortune, I met the perfect Guru. Maneh bha-i-aa pargaasaa: a light came on in my mind.
The next line might sound like bragging: ko-ay na pahuchanhaaraa doojaa, no one else can reach me. But it's not about being better than anyone. It means he has stopped measuring himself against others. His footing is saahib kaa bharvaasaa, trust in the One, his Master.
Think of a tree with deep roots. Wind can shake its branches, but it can't knock it over. The person rooted in the One is like that. Worries still blow, but they can't topple you. This steady contentment is the feeling of Raag Sorath.
What is something that used to worry you a lot but bothers you less now?
