To truly see the One is a gift that always bears fruit — the deathless Form that is, and always will be.
That One draws its own close in an embrace, and keeps them safe, because their love is dear to it.
Guru Arjan says the One who never dies hugs its loved ones close and keeps them safe.
Safal darsan akaal moorat: to see the akaal Form, the One beyond time and death, always bears good fruit. It's the same word as in Akaal Purakh, the Timeless Being. Hai bhee hovanhaaraa: the One is now and always will be.
Then comes a very tender picture. Kanth lagaa-ay apunay jan raakhay: the One pulls its own people close to its chest in a hug, and protects them. Grace here is closeness, not judging.
And why? Apunee preet pi-aaraa: their love is dear to the One. The love goes both ways.
Think of running to a grandparent after a long time apart. They scoop you up, not because you did something special, but simply because they love you and you love them.
