By great good fortune, one obtains the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Meeting them, evil-mindedness is eliminated.

Slave Nanak yearns for the dust of the feet of those, who have woven the Lord's Name into their hearts. ||2||5||33||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

By great good luck a person finds the company of the wise, and meeting them, the tangled, unkind thoughts fall away.

I would gladly be the dust at the feet of those who have woven the One’s Name right through their hearts.

Good company quietly untangles the mind.
The deeper layer

Durmat — crooked or unkind thinking — dissolves in good company, not by force but by contact. “Dust of the feet” is the language of deep humility: valuing others’ goodness above one’s own pride. Har naam ridai paro-ee pictures the Name threaded through the heart like a needle through cloth.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people whose company makes you kinder?
