Peace, joy, wellbeing, and a gentle inner music came to me as I gazed at the One’s feet.
The Protector kept His child safe, and the Teacher cooled away the fever.
Great relief feels like quiet music after a hard night.
Raakhanhaarai raakhi-o baarik — the Protector kept the child. This little group of shabads celebrates a beloved child’s recovery from fever (taap); the tone throughout is relief and gratitude. Sahj dhun is the natural, effortless inner music of a heart finally calmed.
