ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥
har darsan paraan aDhaaraa.
The Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan is the support of the breath of life.
ਇਹੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਿਮਲ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥
ih pooran bimal beechaaraa.
This is the perfect, pure wisdom.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
kar kirpaa antarjaamee.
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, has granted His Mercy;
ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥੪॥੮॥੫੮॥
daas naanak saran su-aamee. ||4||8||58||

Just to see the One is the very breath of my life -- this is a clear and perfect knowing.
The One who reads every heart was kind to me, so I rest inside His shelter.
To be fully known and still welcomed is one of life's deepest comforts.
Har darsan praan adhaaraa -- the sight (darshan) of the One is the support of the very breath. Antarjaamee -- the Inner-knower; being fully seen and still welcomed is its own kind of home.
