ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਈ ॥
har gun gaavhu sadaa subhaa-ee.
So sing forever the Glorious Praises of the Lord with loving devotion.
ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦੇ ਸਗਲੇ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਜੀਅ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
man chinday saglay fal paavhu jee-a kai sang sahaa-ee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
You shall obtain all the fruits of your mind's desires, and the Lord shall become the companion and the support of your soul. ||1||Pause||

So sing the One's goodness always, with a loving heart.
You will find all your heart wishes for, and the One will walk beside your very soul as friend and support.
The closest friend is the one who walks beside your very soul.
The Rahau: jee-a kai sang sahaa-ee -- the companion of the soul itself, closer than any outer friend. Singing subhaa-ee, with natural love, is the doorway.
