Remembering, remembering God in meditation, bliss ensues, and one is rid of all suffering and pain.

Singing the Glorious Praises of God, and meditating on Him, all my affairs are brought into harmony. ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Holding the One in mind again and again, gladness rises up, and my sorrows and pains scatter.
Singing His goodness and keeping Him in mind, all my tangled tasks come into harmony.
A remembering heart finds that things quietly come into order.
Simar simar... bha-ay anandaa -- remembrance, repeated, turns into bliss. Kaaraj saglay saanthay -- affairs fall into harmony; not by force but as a side-effect of a settled, remembering heart.
A Question to Sit With
What is one thing you could gently return your attention to when your mind feels scattered?
