The Real Thing Is Found Low, in Humble Service

If you become the slave of the Lord's slaves, you shall obtain the True Name. ||1||Pause||

In plain words

Give your heart to what's true — and become a humble helper of the humble; that's where the real thing is found.

The real thing is found low, in humble service — not high, in pride.
The deeper layer

The rahao: "let yourself be a sacrifice to the True Name... become the slave of the Lord's slaves." The path to Truth runs through humility — being willing to serve even the servants, holding no one beneath you. Greatness, in Sikhism, is found by going low in service, not high in pride.

A Question to Sit With

How can serving others humbly actually make you bigger inside, not smaller?
