Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Blessed is the moment you truly fall in love with what's real.

Then you see truth, you speak truth, and you notice the One shining everywhere.

When you truly love what's real and good, you start to see it shining everywhere you look.
The deeper layer

One of the hymn's loveliest verses: "True is the time and true is the moment when one falls in love with the True Lord." Falling in love with truth is the turning point — after which "he sees Truth, speaks Truth, and realizes the True Lord pervading the entire Universe." Loving the real makes you able to see the real everywhere. For a child: when you truly love what's real and good, you start seeing it shining everywhere you look.

A Question to Sit With

When you love something, do you start noticing it everywhere? How might that work with goodness?
