Think of the One Lord, and you shall obtain peace; you shall never suffer in sorrow again. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Keep the true One in mind, and a peace settles in that grief can't fully take away.

A heart anchored in something true finds a peace that sorrow can't fully take away.
The deeper layer

The rahao: "O my mind, think of the True Lord. Think of the One, and you shall obtain peace; you shall never suffer in sorrow again." A tender promise for a raag steeped in longing — a heart anchored in the One finds a peace that even sorrow can't finally overturn.

A Question to Sit With

What steady thing helps you feel peaceful even on a sad day?
