Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Guru, the pains of death and rebirth are taken away. ||10||

In plain words

When you look with your kind, nectar-sweet eyes, you take away all wrongdoing and grime.

Lust, anger, greed and clinging — you have brought all these strong pulls under control.

Your mind is full of peace forever, and you take away the world's pain.

The Guru is a river of the nine treasures, washing the dirt off our lives.

Tal says: serve the Guru day and night, with easy, natural love.

Seeing the Guru, the pain of being born and dying goes away.

The Guru is a river that washes the dirt off our lives.
The deeper layer

The Guru is a river full of treasure, nav niDh daree-aa-o, that washes the dirt off a life.

His kind look takes away grime, and the four strong pulls of lust, anger, greed and clinging are under his control. Ahinis sahj subhaa-ay: serve him day and night, with easy, natural love.

The verse ends with the pain of birth and death, janam maran dukh, the long round of coming and going, which goes away on seeing the Guru. The bard is Tal.
