Savaiye in Praise of Guru Amar Das, Verse 3 — the Naam that set the devotees free

Remembering that pure Naam, the nine masters of yoga, Shiva, Sanak and many others were set free.
The eighty-four Siddhas and the Buddhas are dyed in it. It carried Ambreek across the frightening ocean of the world.
In this dark age, it took away the wrongdoing of Udho, Akrur, Trilochan, Namdev and Kabir.
That Naam, which can never be tricked and carries the devotees across, came to Guru Amar Das.
The same Naam has set free yogis, sages and devotees of every kind, and that Naam came to Guru Amar Das.
The list runs from the nine Naths and the eighty-four Siddhas, masters of yoga, and the Buddhas, to King Ambreek of the old stories. Then come the Bhagats Trilochan, Namdev and Kabir, whose songs are in the Guru Granth Sahib. Namdev was a calico printer and Kabir a weaver; the Naam lifted them as it lifted kings.
