Savaiye in Praise of Guru Amar Das, Verse 9 — powers at his right and left

On his right hand is the sign of the lotus. Wonder-working powers stand facing him, waiting for his word.
On his left are the riches of the world, which charm all three worlds.
The One who cannot be put into words lives in his heart. Only he knows that joy.
Guru Amar Das speaks words of devotion, dyed in the love of the One.
On his forehead is the true mark of the One's grace. Kal says: with my palms pressed together, I meditate on him.
Whoever meets the Guru, the accepted True Guru, has every wish fulfilled.
Wonder-working powers and worldly riches wait beside Guru Amar Das, and in his heart lives the One who cannot be put into words.
Siddh are wonder-working powers and riDh are worldly riches. Here they stand at his right and his left, waiting. His heart holds ak-hee-o, the One beyond words, and only he knows that joy.
Mastak neesaan sacha-o karam: on his forehead is the true mark of grace. Here karam means the One's kindness. The bard is Kal.
