Savaiye in Praise of Guru Amar Das, Verse 10 — every part of you bears fruit

The feet that walk on the path of Guru Amar Das bear the richest fruit.
The hands that touch the feet of Guru Amar Das bear the richest fruit.
The tongue that speaks the praise of Guru Amar Das bears the richest fruit.
The eyes that see Guru Amar Das bear the richest fruit.
The ears that hear the praise of Guru Amar Das bear the richest fruit.
Fruitful is the heart where Guru Amar Das, the father of the world, lives.
Jaalap says: fruitful is the head that bows to Guru Amar Das, every day.
Every part of a person bears fruit when it turns toward Guru Amar Das: feet, hands, tongue, eyes, ears, heart and head.
The word sakyath, fruitful, rings like a bell at the start of every line. Guru Amar Das is called jagat pit, the father of the world. Bowing the head, sir nivai, is a sign of love and respect.
The bard is Jaalap, one of the bhatts, poets who sang the praise of the Gurus. His verse closes the Savaiye of the first three Gurus.
