Basant, Third Mehl:
ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਲਾਏ ॥
maa-i-aa moh sabad jalaa-ay.
Attachment to Maya is burnt away by the Word of the Shabad.

The mind and body are rejuvenated by the Love of the True Guru.

in love with the True Bani of the Guru's Word, and the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The Word burns away the sticky pull of Maya, the shiny, changing world.
Mind and body turn green with love for the True Guru.
The tree bears fruit at the One's door,
in love with the true Word and the Naam.
A heart rooted near the One grows fruit worth having.
The Word clears away clinging, and you grow green, like a tree bearing fruit at the One's door.
Maa-i-aa moh is clinging to the changing world, the thing that keeps the ground bare; the sabad, the Word, burns it off. Man tan hari-aa: mind and body turn green. Safli-o birakh is the fruitful tree, and its fruit is love for the true Word and the Naam.
A Question to Sit With
What would it feel like to be rooted somewhere so good that you could not help but grow?
