In plain words

That person looks for the One alone and loves the One alone.

Their heart longs to see the One and to be near.

Dyed in the One's love, they enjoy it with an easy calm.

Nanak says: I, the One's servant, would give myself for such a person.

The deepest love feels easy, not forced.
The deeper layer

A heart can look for only the One and love only the One, and that love comes easily.

Aykaa khojai ayk pareet — it seeks the One and loves the One. Darsan parsan heet cheet — it longs to see the One and be close. Har rang rangaa sahj maan — it enjoys the One's love in sahj, a natural, easy calm.

Think of a sunflower turning toward the sun all day. It does not have to try hard. It just follows the light. Nanak, calling himself daas, a servant, gives himself for a person like that.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you love so much that loving it takes no effort at all?
