Everything Good At Once

Wisdom, honor, wealth, peace and celestial bliss are attained, if one does not forget the Lord of supreme bliss, even for an instant. ||3||

In plain words

Wisdom, respect, plenty, calm, deep joy — all of it seems to arrive together for the person who keeps the One close through every moment.

Hold that One of endless joy in mind, breath by breath, and these gifts follow like light follows the sunrise.

Keep the One close through every moment, and the good things arrive together, like light after sunrise.
The deeper layer

Many good things arrive together when you keep the One close.

Mat pat Dhan sukh sahj anandaa — wisdom, respect, plenty, peace, and easy joy. Sahj is a calm that comes naturally, without forcing. These gifts come as a bunch, like grapes on one stem.

Ik nimakh na visrahu parmaanandaa — do not forget, even for a blink, the One of highest joy. Parmaananda means "the One of supreme joy." In plain words: keep the One close in every moment.

The gifts do not come first. They follow from staying close to the source of joy. Think of light that follows the sunrise. You do not chase the light. You just face the sun.

A Question to Sit With

What is one small way you could keep something good close through the day instead of forgetting it by lunchtime?
