They offer their prayers to the One Lord, who is pervading and permeating all places. ||2||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The saints keep their hearts on the One alone, and on no other.
They bring their prayers to the One who is present and alive in every single place.
When the One is everywhere, there is no wrong place to pray.
There is only one address for our prayers. Santaa ayk dhi-aavanaa doosar ko naahi — the saints keep their minds on the One, and on no other.
Then: aykas aagai bayntee — they bring their prayers to the One alone. Ravi-aa sarab thaa-ay — the One who is present in every place.
Think of calling someone who always picks up, wherever you are. You never need the right room or the right time. Since the One is everywhere, a prayer can never go to the wrong address.
