Wholeness Is No Longer Being at War With Reality

ਪਉੜੀ ॥
pa-orhee.
Pauree:
ਜਿਨਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਮਨਾਇਓਨੁ ਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥
jinaa hukam manaa-i-on tay pooray sansaar.
Those who obey the Hukam of the Lord's Command, are the perfect persons in the world.
ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸੇਵਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੂਰੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
saahib sayvniH aapnaa poorai sabad veechaar.
They serve their Lord Master, and reflect upon the Perfect Word of the Shabad.
ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥
har kee sayvaa chaakree sachai sabad pi-aar.
They serve the Lord, and love the True Word of the Shabad.
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਮਾਰਿ ॥
har kaa mahal tinHee paa-i-aa jinH ha-umai vichahu maar.
They attain the Mansion of the Lord's Presence, as they eradicate egotism from within.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਰਹੇ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੧੦॥
naanak gurmukh mil rahay jap har naamaa ur Dhaar. ||10||
O Nanak, the Gurmukhs remain united with Him, chanting the Name of the Lord, and enshrining it within their hearts. ||10||

In plain words

Those who live by the One's ordering Will are the whole persons of this world.

They serve the Master and reflect on the perfect Word; they love the true Word; they reach the One's presence, having uprooted ego. Nanak says: facing the teaching, they stay united with the One, the Name enshrined in the heart.

Wholeness isn't achievement or status — it's living so in tune with a wiser Will that you're no longer at war with reality.
The deeper layer

The tenth Pauree names those aligned with hukam "the perfect persons in the world" — completeness is defined not by achievement or status but by living in tune with the Will. "Perfect" here means whole, integrated, no longer at war with reality. To obey the Will is to become undivided.
