The bonds of ignorance, doubt, emotional attachment and the love of Maya have been cut; God hugs me close in His Embrace. ||2||4||23||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Nanak says: after wandering and wandering, I, Your servant, have come to the shelter of the holy ones.

The ties of not-knowing, of doubt, of clinging, and of the love of Maya have been cut, and the One hugs me close.

Long wandering can end in a close embrace.
The deeper layer

After long wandering, the shelter of holy people cuts the knots, and the One hugs you close.

Firat firat naanak daas aa-i-o santan hee sarnaa-ay: wandering and wandering, Nanak, the servant, comes to the shelter of the saints. Kaatay agi-aan bharam moh maa-i-aa: ignorance, doubt, clinging and the pull of Maya are cut. Lee-o kanth lagaa-ay: the One hugs me close. The wandering ends in an embrace, like a lost child found and held tight.
