Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One is both the banker and the trader.
The One is the judge who weighs the true worth of things.
On its own touchstone it tests, and it alone knows the true value of each heart.
The One sees the true worth in you, past every price tag.
Life is pictured as a marketplace: the One is banker (saahu), merchant (vanjaaraa), and appraiser (parkhanhaaraa), testing on its own kasvatee (touchstone). The gentle meaning is that the One sees true worth, past every surface price.
