Verse 13 of 15

The Gardener of Every Heart

aap da-i-aal da-i-aa parabh Dhaaree.
God Himself, the Merciful Lord, grants His Grace.
ghat ghat rav rahi-aa banvaaree.
The Gardener pervades and permeates each and every heart.
purakh ateet vasai nihkayval gur purkhai purakh milaa-i-aa. ||13||
The pure, primal, detached Lord abides within all. The Guru, the Lord Incarnate, leads us to meet the Lord God. ||13||

In plain words

The Merciful One itself gives its grace.

Like a gardener, it soaks into every single heart and makes it grow.

Pure and free, it lives inside all; and the Guru, the One made visible, leads me to meet it.

The One tends your heart the way a gardener tends a growing thing.
The deeper layer

Grace here is freely given (da-i-aa). The gardener image (the One tending every heart) carries growth and patience. The Guru is the One made visible, the door through which the meeting happens.

A Question to Sit With

What is helping something good grow inside you right now?
