No one knows who I am, but I am called Your servant.
That is my shelter and my support.
Belonging to the One is all the support you need.
Belonging to the One is shelter enough.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line at the centre of the shabad. Mo ka-o ko-ay na jaanat — nobody knows me. Kahee-at daas tumaaraa — but I am called Yours, Your servant. Ayhaa ot aadhaaraa — this is my shelter and my support.
Think of a kid in a new school where nobody knows their name yet. Then a parent's hand waves from the gate. Being someone's own is enough to stand on.
