O Nanak, the Treasure of Virtue fills my mind; I shall never again suffer in pain. ||2||4||8||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

In kindness, the One cut away all my wrongs and placed the pure Naam in my mind.

Nanak says: the Treasure of all goodness has come to live in my mind, and pain will never come to me again.

Kindness can hand you a clean slate you could never have earned.
The deeper layer

Kindness wipes away old wrongs and plants the pure Naam in the mind.

Kar kirpaa kilvikh sabh kaatay: by grace (kirpaa), all my wrongs were cut away. It is a clean slate, given as a gift. Naam nirmal man dee-aa: the spotless Naam is set in the mind like a seed.

Gun niDhaan naanak man vasi-aa: the Treasure of goodness comes to live there. Baahurh dookh na thee-aa: and pain does not come back.
