In plain words

By the Guru's grace, a person is born into the One's own home, once maya — the pull of things that glitter and fade — is cleared out from within.

That person eats what cannot be eaten and is given a clear, wise mind, and meets the Supreme One, the First of all.

Loosen the pull of shiny promises, and you find you're already home in the One.
The deeper layer

With the Guru's grace, maya loosens its pull and you come home to the One.

Siv ghar means the home of the One; siv is an old name for the pure, still Lord. Sakat is maya, the restless pull of the world. Clear that out, and you are born into the One's home. Achar charai — eating the uneatable — means digesting the hard things inside, like ego and wanting, that once seemed impossible. Bibayk budh is a clear mind that can tell right from wrong. Purkhai purakh milaa-ay — the person meets the First, Supreme One.

A Question to Sit With

What hard thing did you once think you couldn't do, but managed anyway?
