Without the True Guru, no one has found it. See this in your mind, and think it over in your heart.
By great good fortune, a person finds the Guru and crosses over the wide, rough sea of the world.
The roughest sea becomes crossable with the right wisdom to carry you.
The Guru is the one who carries you across life's rough sea.
Man vaykhahu ridai beechaar — look in your mind, think it over in your heart. Bhavjal is the world-ocean, the wide, rough water of life with its waves of worry and wanting. The Guru is like a strong boat. Vadbhaagee means very fortunate. With the Guru, the crossing can be made.
